Todo empezó el pasado Diciembre, cuando tras recibir un email del SOPP de la UC3M, decidí solicitar un par de puestos de trabajo que ofertaban para trabajar en los Juegos Olimpicos en London 2012. Nunca hubiera pensado que en Mayo, tras una entrevista con la directora de RRHH de AtoS, recibiera el correspondiente email que confirmaba que había sido seleccionada para trabajar en los Juegos Olimpicos. Afirmaba que del 6 de Junio al 10 de Septiembre desempeñaría el puesto de AVITM, Asisstant Venue IT Manager, para AtoS.
Y aquí estoy, hace dos semanas ya, instalada en la capital británica. Estoy viviendo concretamente en Liberty House en 218 St John Street, EC1V 4AT. He estado haciendo un tranining durante casi dos semanas en Canary Wharf y ahora ya estoy en RAB, Royal Artillery Barracks, donde trabajamos con el deporte de tiro.
Prometo contaros cómo han sido mis dos semanas hasta ahora, cómo es mi residencia, qué se siente al trabajar en Canary Wharf y por supuesto, cómo es RAB.

Everything started last December, after receiving an email from my university's Career Planning Service, I decided to apply for couple of interships offered to work for the Olympics in London 2012. I would have never thought that in May, following the interview I had with the Human Resources Director from AtoS, I would received an email which announced me I got an intership for London 2012 project. My position would be as an AVITM, Assistant Venue IT Manager from the 6th of June until the 10th of September.
So here I am, settled in the british capital already for two weeks. Actually, I am living in Liberty House in 218 St John Street, EC1V 4AT. I have been doing a training for almost two weeks in Canary Wharf and I am currently working in my venue RAB, Royal Artillery Barracks, where the sport played is Shooting.
I swear I will tell you how those two weeks have been so far, how my residence looks like, what is the feeling working in London's metropolis Canary Wharf and obviously, how are things in RAB.

PS: I post the first photo I took in London, when I get in my residence, I could see it through my window. The whole UK was celebrating the Diamond Jubilee, to mark 60 years of the Queen's reign.
